We are a management consulting firm that serves businesses, governments, and not-for-profits in Ethiopia. Founded in 2007 by returnees from the Ethiopian diaspora, we are one of the largest strategy consulting firms in the region. We have a full-time staff of 30 professionals, 100+ affiliated consultants and more than 200 data collectors; organized and managed by experienced project managers.

The Precise Leadership Development Program

Precise does not wield any machinery. Our machinery is our exceptionally talented staff. We seek, recruit, train and mentor talented young graduates and give them an environment where they can grow and contribute to society and to themselves. The Precise Leadership Development Program hence seeks to bring together the brightest, energetic, and most curious minds and to provide them with the tools and resources to build an ambition to change the world.

The program will run a mandatory 1-year span during which trainees are expected to contribute to the regular work of Precise. Selected candidates will join Precise as an Analyst and can expect to earn a starting salary. Trainees will be exposed to a great many business management and economics concepts and will pass through rounds of skills training. These include

*Ethiopia’s development strategies, Developmental State Model & the GTP

*Guest speakers Series (government leaders, corporate executives, development practitioners, etc.)

*Understanding Ethiopia’s leading economic sectors: agriculture, the emerging manufacturing *sector, fast moving consumer goods, etc.

*Training & coaching on

Business plan development

Entrepreneurship development

Presentation skills


Proposal writing

*Economics: principles and concepts

*Management: principles and concepts


First degree is a requirement, in any field. Second degrees, especially MBAs are encouraged to apply. Students finishing schoolwork this year are most welcome. Good academic records are essential. However, we are most interested in well¬-rounded candidates, independent thinkers who thrive as part of a team. We look for leadership interest and potential, entrepreneurial spirit, analytical problem solving skills, creative thinkers, result orientation, and most importantly, the passion to change the world for the better. Communications skills, both written and spoken are a must. Both English and Amharic are critical; other languages are also a plus. Strong computer skills are required. Any extracurricular activities out of school, sports, volunteering, etc. are all positively seen.
