Call for Applications from Private Companies
Take the Challenge, Make the Change!
Innovation Against Poverty (IAP) is a specialized fund developed to identify and support innovative Inclusive Business ideas that deliver both commercial benefits for the private sector and developmental benefits for low income people, while advancing the inclusion and economic empowerment of women and youth. IAP is funded by Sida (Swedish International Development Agency) and managed by SNV Netherlands Development Organisation in partnership with Bottom of Pyramid Innovation Centre (BoP Inc.) and Inclusive Business Sweden.
IAP offers advisory services and non-reimbursable funding of up to 200.000 EUR to companies based, or operating in Ethiopia, Cambodia, Uganda or Zambia which aim to implement an innovative inclusive business project in the following sectors:
- Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
The first round of calls is open from March 24th until July 24th 2017. IAP will be launched in Ethiopia on April 6, 2017. Interested applicants can go to IAP website to apply. Proposals will be accepted and assessed on a ‘first come first serve’ basis. IAP invites all companies with an innovative Inclusive Business idea focused on one of the four sectors and target countries to apply.
