Following the 1st quarter Breakfast Forum which focused on “Risks and Rewards of Doing Business in Ethiopia”, the 2nd quarter featured the topic of “Access to Finance” which brought an esteemed discussion in the areas of domestic resource mobilization through mobile banking, public private partnership investment and value chain financing.
The second round of the event, hosted on September 17, 2013, was attended by more than 80 participants and three panelists were invited to share their experiences and enlighten the attendants on topics around the main theme of the forum.
The panelists were Ato Yohannes Tilahun – ATA, Ato Munir Duri – Kifiya Financial Services, and Ato Dawit Belay – Advantage Industrials. They had enlightened the attendants on the Public Private Partnership Opportunities to Finance Investment, Emerging Ethiopian/African Power Sector & Supply Chain Business, and Domestic Savings Mobilization through Branchless Banking.
